About the photographer

I was initially inspired when my brother took a photography class and I saw how you can photograph an ordinary object, make it come to life and become a work of art.  I developed my skill in college where I received awards and recognition for my work and graduated with a photography degree.  After school I worked with a professional photographer where I learned the nuances of portraiture.

I’ve been a professional photographer since 2002 and I have extensive experience in both studio and natural light.  I’m proficient in the studio but my expertise is with natural light.

In some situations it’s necessary to “set up” a picture but my passion is capturing those candid moments, when you are more relaxed, comfortable and interacting with the ones you love.  It would be my honor to be your photographer and capturing those precious moments in time.
